Best sides for smoked meats?

Hi again yall

Thanks for your feedback on my other thread allthough it did go in a bit of a funky direction.

My next question for my 4th of july cookout is about which sides you think is best to go with a nice smoked meat?

I was thinking of doing some taters, wedge salad, wet beans, sparagus, and some shrimps.

What sides do you all do with your smoked meats?

I would skip anything plant based....woke people eat that stuff.

Dutch’s beans are great, coleslaw, Mac salad, potato salad and cornbread are all tasty.

Borracho beans (drunken beans) so flavorful and delicious.

Mac-n-Cheese is a staple side along with beans.
My wife likes a raw chopped broccoli salad with a vinaigrette dressing mixed with bacon pieces, dried cranberries, and sunflower seeds.
