Curious to hear what other culinary delights the members here pursue. My wife and I are fond of making homemade pastas (and sauces/pesto/gravies to go with them) especially ravioli/tortellini, and many Asian themed dishes. She also bakes and make a mean cheesecake.

So what else besides BBQ do you and yours make that has your friends and family drool over?

Now I have been interested in cooking for well 20-25 years (yes I'm a old fat kid) and I have ventured off into different areas. Now I really into BBQ but I have been thou phases of the pasta making and for awhile do alot of that. Then you have the pretty food alittle of this on a plate and looks are really important. Then I still do the sausage & bacon making but not like before when I think I ground the dogs leg up for sausage of some sort. But now I leveling out with just enjoying the feeding others again and thats a great enjoyment to me. I just love to see folks enjoying the food I make.

I really enjoy making fresh sausage, have been doing it for a few years.

I always like hearing "you made this" ?

I did make some smoked snack sticks and summer sausage that turned out pretty good.

The wife makes home made cookies cakes and candy. She also cooks great stick to your ribs country / comfort food.
Me, i cook cajun / creole. classic european gormet (even though i think plating and presentation is way over rated) .
Outside cooking is my favorite. anything on the gas burner or in the do
is fun.
I will try anything if i have a recipe and the WWW has opened up options to find foods from around the world.

I do some baking occationally. Foccaccia, blueberry buckles, banana chocolate cakes, cookies...

Oh and... uh...

I make my own chocolate truffles. Any flavoring and type of chocolate.

BBQ and chocolate making go together right? :D

EDIT: Oh and I make my own ice cream, it goes with the baked goods. Cake batter ice cream is the best so far.

I do some regular cooking, smoke meats and dutch oven cooking. I'm getting started with sourdough breads. Thinking about doing a garden next year to get some fresh veggies and peppers. No sweets, never really cared for them. I'm amazed, though, that although I do so much cooking I'm still losing weight as the doctor ordered. I think it's cuz other people eat all of it before I have a chance to bring my plate to the table....

Green chile and cheese tamales, and red pork tamales for Christmas.

We roast coffee and make our own pasta (when we have time)
We also teach a gourmet cooking class to 4H kids and have done catering events for up to 150 as a side line
Our sons friends once asked - do your parents ever cook the same meal twice - not in the same month was always our rule

Im in to sausage making my friends say im a sausge master but i dont think so also my wife makes the best swedish cofee cake that we give out as gifts real crowd pleaser they are

BBQ, Smoking, Frying, Boiling, Open fire, Stove top or in the oven. You name it I try to cook it. Seafood, Pork, Beef.....Heck just food in general, I like to cook, when I get a chance.

I've been known to make a pretty decent pizza. If I weren't always up to my eyeballs in other projects I'd like to build a wood fired brick oven.

I've done probably almost everything except sausage, bacon, and hotdogs or similar link type meats, but give me time I will get to them eventually.
