Give it a shot man. I bought a cheapo “open box” Westin slicer off Amazon for $40 I think. Sliced 75 pounds of bacon and several other things with no problem yet...yet is the keyword though haha will probably stop working tomorrow now. Check Craigslist for used commercial slicers. I’m waiting on the right deal to come along myself
