My wife just gave ne an awesome early Christmas present or more corrects PRESENTS.

I have been needing upgrades and more equipment for meat processing, sausage making and smoking. Apparently she has been saving up on the sly to make it a real surprise and oh boy did she. That's saying something, as I am not easy to really surprise.

She took advantage of the Meat Your Maker Black Friday Package Deals. This is what she got me and for what I consider quite a good price and value.

1.5 HP Grinder #32 (msrp $800)

50lb Meat Mixer (msrp $500)

25lb Motorized Sausage Stuffer (msrp $800)

16" External Vacuum Sealer + 100 X-Large Vacuum Bags (msrp $300 + $50)

Grilla Grill's Mammouth Pellet Smoker (msrp $999)

(MSRP $3,449)

Total Sale Price $2,294 for $1,155 / 33% discount

Plus she had a no restriction 5% off coupon for another $109 discount

Total Final Price: 2075.33 + free shipping

Back story:

For the last few yrs, I have been using a good friends old gander grinder and a very old 5lb stuffer I picked up at a yard sale. Been mostly cold smoking with a DIY box since moving and leaving the smoke house hot/cold I built behind. Our 15 year old food saver vacuum sealer that is on its last legs. I do a deal of meat processing 6-8 deer, a hog, final pricessing from a cow we have butched, plus various other store bought or harvested game each yr.

I had mentioned to her after last yrs deer season I wanted to start replacing and upgrading etc my equipment and was going to try to pu used or good sale price over the next couple years. A few months ago I discussed picking up the #32 grinder when it was on a 20% sale. She suggested to wait a couple months for Black Friday as sale prices tend to be better. I agreed. Little did I know she had called them and surprising to me, after some discussion with the rep of what she had planned, he told her they were planning some big combo sales that would have the equipment she knew I wanted at a better discount. He could not give specifics but recommended to wait for the BF package deals (These days what sales reps have the ethics and compassion to forego the immediate sale like that? He even emailed her that no restriction 5% coupon)

She had no plans for the pellet smoker as I had plans to build another smoke house as before using a couple old wood stoves. She saw this package and reviewed the mammouth and thought it might fit my needs and save me some work.

She of course was not going to make a purchase like this without my input so on Wednesday she broke the surprise of how she had been squirreling away money for the last yr to get me all the equipment she knew I had been wanting. The Grilla Mammouth was serious icying on the cake.! The "Mammouth" thread on here was very helpful to her. I had read that back when it was current but $1k was a bit pricey compared to the cost of supplies in building my own traditional smoke house.

Now I am very eagerly awaiting this awesome gift from my wife to arrive in the next couple weeks!!

I did have to spring for the Mammouth Cover direct from Grilla which is on sale for $35 from $60 for BF

To say I am stoked is a understatement and wanted to share my joy!!

That's awesome, congrats on all the equipment... but now your screwed, you'll really have to get her something nice now lol 🤣. Kidding aside, she sounds like a keeper for sure.
She sure is and no question I have to think hard on something extra special. When people ask about my wife and our relationship my answer I am super blessed. My bread is buttere on both sides!! Honestly I could not ask for better.

That's awesome! You have no doubt treated her right for what she's getting you. So until you figure out something better... a hug, kiss, and I love you will work I'm sure!

Oh damn!! You need to get her a finger brace to carry that thing. I kicked around the idea of jewlery but for her I think maybe a all inclusive exotic destination. Some where thats 100% about her desire and interests where she can get pampered as she is always taking care of me without me ever asking.
