My wife is having her 60th birthday so I invited her best friends. I'm doing 24+ lbs of pork sholder (pulled). Here's the menu.

Appetizers;
Pig shots, potato and tortilla chips, pimento cheese dip, taco dip, stuffed mushrooms, smoked salmon, veggie tray, grapes and watermelon.

Main course;
Rolls, Pulled pork, coleslaw, cheese potatoes, home made baked beans, Coke jello salid,Beer, grapes, carrot salad,

Desert;
Apple bars, pumpkin bread, bars and Chocolate triffle. (She wants NO cake and no "60" candle!)

Drinks;
Water, soda, assorted beers and wines, whiskey old fashion.

So the evening will be full of crying babies, fighting kids and lots of love and kisses

-and- no one will go home hungry. Does it get any better?

Sounds good and GOOD CALL on not doing the candles. We put 65 individual candles on my MIL's B-day cake. That much heat vaporized all the Wax. The entire surface of the cake was on fire with a huge single flame!...JJ

Pork shoulders are done 24# initially and once pulled I ended up getting 12.5#. it'll have to be enough for everyone.

That was a perfect opportunity to add marshmallows to the dessert menu. :emoji_laughing:
