Gotta love rural Ohio, I can get fresh eggs from many sources. Most of the Amish stores have fresh local eggs and signs in plenty of front yards too.

Just got rid of my last few hens a month ago. Picked up a dozen eggs at the local supermarket last week. They were flavorless imposters.

Guy down the road sells his eggs for $6.00 dz.

I am lucky enough to have chickens on our property. With 3 teenage boys that eat dang near a dozen eggs a day our 27 hens work over time. I agree the supermarket eggs are no comparison to fresh eggs.
