My local watering hole has pot lucks on a few football Sundays, so I smoked some fatties and made sliders on Kings Hawaiian rolls. I usually use Jimmy Dean Regular, and season with cracked pepper and at least one BBQ rub. The logs take right at 3 hours with a pit temp of 225°, to reach 165°.... then they rest in foil for about an hour. If I'm careful I can get 10 slices per one-pound log. I pre-cut all the rolls, warm them in the cardboard tray, build the slider and brush the top with butter. I do take some condiment containers with a thinned out Blues Hog original for those that want some sauce.
