I have had dogs all my life and right now one of my dogs is morbidly obese according to the vet so she is on a diet for about the last 6 mo.s .  When the vet told me she was fat he said you know dogs can’t eat what people eat.  Onions, Chives, leeks, shallots, Chocolate, Coffee, Salt, Sugar, Paprika, Pepper, Nutmeg.  Sounds like a rub….These are all dangerous for a dog.  And that is not a full list if you feed your dog leftovers please look up what you are giving them.  My dogs get just as excited over a spoon of rice as a spoon of beef as long as they don’t have a choice.

Thanks Stan!

First time I've seen this thread.

Dogs are man's best friend and I too love my dog!
