Been running a smoker the past 4 years. Started with very simple 18" propane unit just to be sure the results were edible and I enjoyed the experience. Two years ago I stepped up to a Rec Tec 680 pellet burner and I'm lovin' it. This is a great "sit it and forget it" solution. No concerns with overnight briskets.

Welcome to the site, there's an awful lot of pellet poopers on site if you have any questions.

I just noticed my grammatical error. "Set it and forget it". Thanks to all for not calling me out.

Thanks for all the welcomes. If money weren't an issue (it always is), I'd spend all day smoking something good to eat.
