In the woods of upstate new york
Not in my normal comfort zone of cooking. I consider myself a chef not a baker, but my 12 year old has a French class and asked if we could make something for his class together. How do you say know to that?

Looks like I may have scorched the caramel sauce just a bit but tastes good.

Anyone make stuff like this?
 
It does look like the carmel got a little done but if the taste is there then just tell em it has a great bark.

I do a brandied pear Tarte tatin that is always requested instead of birthday cake by all three of my kids.
