This hand built offset smoker is brand new and ready to cook!

Located in Bartlesville, OK - about 40 minutes north of Tulsa, OK.

JUST A NOTE - this cooker has 66% more grate-level cooking space than an LSG 24x48 offset ($4200 +tax on casters) and 30% more grate-level cooking space than an LSG 24x60 offset ($4600 +tax on casters)

Smoker Details:
Cook chamber - 26x48" 1/4" wall thickness
Bottom sliding rack - 25x39"
Upper sliding rack - 20x39"
Firebox - 24x27" 3/8" wall thickness
Pinwheel damper AND door standoff
Custom plasma CNC-cut parts - hinges, handles, etc. (all 1/4")
5" ID exhaust, folding, 58" tall
18" smoke collector
40" single door
***1-finger lift and close due to meticulously designed counterweight*** Actually, I can lift it easily with one PINKY finger
Rolling cool touch door lift handle
2 clamping door latches by LavaLock (no door bouncing or racks sliding out while towing)
LavaLock door trim, the best out there - ZERO door leaks!
Pre-seasoned with cooking oil inside
Linseed oil finish outside - simple maintenance, just spray it down with canola oil every couple of cooks

Some people have commented that it looks like it would be hard to reach into - let me reassure you, the pictures may be deceiving. The cook chamber is only 11" from the trailer edge. I am not a tall guy (5'9") and I can stand straight up at the trailer rail, without bending, and reach to the middle of the cook chamber. It ISN'T high, and it ISN'T far. This is a COMFORTABLE height and reach. In all ways - even the top of the door handle when the door is raised.

Now for some special details - if you've cooked on many offset smokers, you know that many open offsets have a VERY hot zone directly in front of the firebox, where the 'throat opening' into the cook chamber leads to super high temps. This means, the first 8", 12" or MORE of your grate space may not even be USEABLE, because it's TOO HOT.
Well, not anymore... this smoker uses a specially designed throat opening with a vertically-oriented baffle/scoop that immediately directs the blisteringly hot superheated air up to the top of the cook chamber - where it wants to go anyway. This allows for true offset "top down" cooking with no radiant heat from a downward deflecting baffle, which would push the heat out into the middle of the chamber and just move your hotspot outwards. This allows for truly even heat the ENTIRE length of your cooking grate. That's right, you can use EVERY. SINGLE. INCH. of this lower grate without burning your food!

Of course, as in ALL offsets, the top rack is going to run hotter than the lower rack, how much depends on how aggressive your fire is. I've monitored this with a Fireboard thermometer and when cruising along at normal cook temps and a reasonable fire, upper grate temps were about 30-40ºF higher than lower grate temps. But, if you throw several logs on there and open things up, you'll easily run 150-200ºF hotter, if you want to - I like to cook things like chickens and pork belly up on the top rack of my cookers, at higher temps.
But the point is, no super hot zone on the lower grate, the entire thing is usable, even DIRECTLY IN FRONT of the firebox. I have temp graphs to prove it!

So there you have it. This isn't some cheap cooker thrown together out of scrap by someone in a weekend. This smoker and trailer has literally hundreds of hours of detail work in it. I spent 2 full days just working on the wiring, getting it right, getting it solid. I can't tell you how many guys I see who say, "Yeah, I gotta rewire some of the lights" on their trailers - it's epidemic! I want my trailer wiring to be SOLID and DURABLE. And I think it is.

This smoker is a crafted work. It is going to last. If you take care of it like I built it, it'll last forever. Till the sun burns out.

I also have tons and tons of build pics if you want to know all the details of the build. Happy to answer any questions. This has been up for a while, it was originally quite a bit higher, but at this point I kind of decided I'll just keep it if I have to discount it anymore. I've got probably $2500 in materials to build it, and spent a couple hundred hours on it, so it's not really worth discounting anymore, I'll just keep cooking on it. It cooks great! I love it!

I call it "The Bronco". I dunno why, that name just seemed to 'fit'. Maybe the color, who knows.
