Hello fellow smokers. My name is Jay and I'm new to this forum. Never have owned and actual "smoker", but have been smoking for years with various kettles and other types of pits I've modded to suit my needs. Always seeking new tips and tricks for a kettle so if anyone has any I would greatly appreciate it. Was thinking about using a thick pizza pan over the coals to use as a heat diffuser. Kinda like a Kamado type grill. Or a Cobb (which I own, and is an incredible little workhorse). Any ideas or suggestions would be much appreciated

Welcome to the forum!

Glad to have you aboard.

I think 90% of the people on here have a kettle of some kind in their arsenal.

They are so versatile & now they have so many accessories being built for them.

Looking forward to seeing yours in action!
