Thank you to Keith indaswamp indaswamp for helping me with this. I used his recipe & followed it to a tee. Here is the recipe:

We got all the ingredients ready while the water came to a boil.

Once the water got to a good rolling boil we put the spices in, turned the heat down & let them cook for 20 minutes.

Next we put in everything else except the corn & crawfish and let them cook for 10 minutes.

Now the star of the show! Of course that would be me😎.

Into the jacuzzi they go!

This where I did change one thing, we didn’t put the frozen corn in with the crawfish.
After returning to a boil we cooked them for 5 minutes.

Then turned off the fire, and added the frozen corn, 1 stick of frozen butter (not in original recipe), and a couple of pounds of ice.
Covered it up & let it soak for 30 minutes.

After 30 minutes it’s time to see how good we did!

This experience was a whole lot of fun. Not only was it fun, but it was easy & fast. For me when something works well the first time it really is unusual. I always have something to say that I would change. Not this time, I wouldn’t change a thing. Since the season is about over, I guess my next boil will be a shrimp boil! Thank you again Keith for the inspiration & the help. Happy Father’s Day to all you Dad’s out there!

Nice job Al, that looks fun and tasty! Where did you get your crawfish from?
Thanks Rafter, I got them online from Louisiana Crawfish Co. Out of 10 pounds there were only 2 dead ones. I think that is pretty good!
Al
Looks awesome Al!! I'll bet it was delicious. So did you just eat the tails or go full out and suck the heads too?
Thank you, we went full on & sucked the heads. These were jumbo size & the claws had quite a bit of meat in them too. We were breaking the heads open & just sucking the juice out!
Al
Strong work! We don't get that kinda chow around here.
We got these online, I think they deliver anywhere in the US.
Al
Looks great Al.
Thanks Jim!
Al
Man Yeah! I’d pull up a chair to that in a heartbeat.

Jim
I know what you mean. Judy & I are very light eaters, but we gorged ourselves. We only had about 1 dozen leftover!

Now that is a feast! Very well done!

The boy and me are getting ready to start putting out our crab pots to fill the freezer now that the water has warmed up! This is inspiration!

Wow Al, a home run there. Pure happiness. I wanted to go to crawfish boil last week but was so hot outside I decided to shrimp at home. Used 16/24 count and put them in frozen took pot off burner and let sit 20 minutes. This was my best yet. I usual thaw shrimp but not again.

Yes fellas, That is what I did. My very first crawfish omelette! Sliced the potato’s in half & cooked them in the pan with some of the garlic also. Only I had it for dinner last night!
