Just put a 8.5 lb boston butt on the smoker a few minutes ago. Temps are at 260* on the dot (a little higher than I'd like) and there's a steady stream of light blue smoke (hickory and apple chunks). Later on, there'll be a 6 lb eye of round roast (injected with worcestershire and coated with Montreal Steak Seasoning), and cheeseburger and breakfast fatties. A buddy's bring brats over tomorrow afternoon. I have a feeling it'll be a good day :)
