What does a typical 11 year old spend their money on? Video games? Clothes? Candy? Nope...not our kid. My 11 year old wanted to use a portion of her Christmas money to buy her very first smoker, all by herself. She got an ASMOKE AS350 mini pellet smoker at Menards for $89. She's already trying to challenge me to a throw-down.

Proud dad moment today. Very, very proud moment.

That's awesome, you should be proud! Like to hear the results of that throw-down when it happens. LOL

Well, that’s just sweet. And yes would make you proud. Do a throwdown and post up the results. She might just surprise us all.

That’s great Quig, very cool to see the kiddos passionate and active. You have the right to be proud for sure… but also look out… sounds like she’s coming for ya! 😉

Has she decided on the maiden voyage smoke yet?

Very cool! You've done good. Make sure to post up her stuff

That's awesome! Looking forward to the showdown!

Ryan

That is very very cool and special! Proud dad I am sure.

That's flat-out KILL'ER, I hope she kills it!!!

That's cool.......Kids can run circles around us adults, and they learn fast. She'll be a pro in no time.

Congratulations, and a rightfully proud father moment! I have already conceded steak-cooking skills to my oldest son (30 years old), but he still hasn't taken on the low-and-slow style. As I proceed into my pellet smoker years, and gift one of my stick burners to him, he will need to figure that part out.
