Pre-Proportioning Mix Ingredients
The easiest and very well-created ingredient combinations for different sausages are premade mixes. I purchase mine from Butcher Packer (http://www.butcher-packer.com/). Saves me from having lots of bulk ingredients on hand which can go stale...www.smokingmeatforums.com
Thanks very much.3 TBS / 5#'s = 0.6 TBS per pound..... 0.6 X 7 = 4.2 TBS per 7#'s....
1 tsp. = 0.33 TBS..... So... 4 TBS + 1/3 tsp = ~ 4.3 TBS...

Thanks very much.assuming your spices are 15g per tablespoon, then id say you need 64g for 7lb. but you should probably check the weight of the seasoning.
Plus 7 grams of cure #1.3 TBS / 5#'s = 0.6 TBS per pound..... 0.6 X 7 = 4.2 TBS per 7#'s....
