I always have a couple at every house I lived at .ps: your Clematis is beautiful, things are just starting to poke through the ground here.
I always have a couple at every house I lived at .
3 varieties in there , but the Nelly Moser is the show-off for sure .
How much sun does it need? I have a climbing rose that I planted last year that's just not doing well at all, probably because a nearby dwarf apple and a red barberry leave it with only 3 or 4 hours of sun. I'd like to have something in that spot but it can't need a lot of sun.Ribs made the plate for the second nights meal . Fall of the bone due to the wrapped re-heat , but that's OK . I like them like that too .
Toasted brioche bun and homemade pasta salad for round 2 .

Keeping them trimmed up this year to see if it makes a difference this fall . Supposed to bloom again , but never does . Gets to big I think .

The roots like to be cool , but the plant itself likes more sun than shade .How much sun does it need?

Monroe county Kentucky . I think it's a pork steak thing , but I use it on ribs and pork butts sometimes .What is “Monroe County mop?”
Good info. It’s interesting to see the slight regional variations on a simple thing like a mop sauce. I made Rodney Scott’s mop one time and it blew my wife’s head off (I loved it) now I only do that for my own rib rackMonroe county Kentucky . I got it from another thread here awhile back . It 's good .
As posted ,
1/2 cup butter
2 cups white vinegar ( I use red wine vinegar )
2 TBLS black pepper
2 TBLS sugar ( I use brown sugar )
1/2 tsp red pepper
1 TBLS hot sauce
1 TBLS salt ( I omit the salt )
Melt the butter , then add the rest and simmer .
Cool before using .
I agree . I started using it with the pellet grill , because the longer cooks tend to dry out the sutface from the fan running .interesting to see the slight regional variations on a simple thing like a mop sauce.
