About to SMOKE!

Hello everyone!

I have watched all the food network bbq challenges and smoking competitions and have been wanting to give it a shot for some time now.

I will be making my first smoker purchase and have decided (after many reviews, opinions, and comparisons) that I will be picking up the Char-Griller Smokin' Pro. I'm thinking that the price is right for a newbie. I can't wait to get smoking/q'ing. Any and all advice is welcomed and needed. Hope to become a contributing member here at SMF.

Thanks for the info and welcomes...I did sign up for the 5 day eCourse! Been looking around and man are there some abbreviations here! I love it

. Fatty, cg snp, w- somethings and g-what nots. So much info...going to look and hopefully grab my "CG SNP"

after work today.

I think you are going to get your CGSP w/ SFB. (CharGriller Smokin' Pro with Side Fire Box). It's sometimes hard to keep up with the abbreviations. LOL!

I got my CG & added the SFB later. I didnt find this sight 'till I learned a lot by the school of hard knocks 1st. You got the one up by finding SMF & the 5-day course 1st.
