The last cow we had done came in at $5.25 per pound, that included cut and wrap. That was 6 years ago. All my friends quit raising beef, was getting too expensive here.
Yes I saw that in the add. I don't use a ton of pellets. I do buy the apple, pecan, and cherry, and alder. Those bags last me several years. The specialty pellets like cob, peach etc I buy from Todd at Amaze N Smokers. I really only use the pellets for cold smoking and making jerky, sausage and fish.
