Wife and I along with two other fishing buddies, went out of Santa Cruz, CA for some early season Salmon fishing on a local 4 pack boat. Yes she caught the biggest fish (16.5#) but we all came home with limits. Lots of future smoking. A very fun way to spend the day with my WAY better half.

Here's the boat we went out on.

Mrs Bear loves Fishing, but I never took her for Salmon.

Thanks all.   I had so much fun I'm going out again this coming Wednesday.  Browneyesvictim,  we love rock cod.  Actually I like it better than Salmon when it comes to a dinner dish, but when it comes to smoking and eating it afterwards,  Salmon is still king in my books.   Rock cod taco's = yumminess!!
