Central Florida (Sebring)

We had a hot tub at our old house in Ft. Lauderdale, but when we sold our house & moved up here to Sebring 12 years ago.

The new owners wanted the hot tub.

We have been wanting one for a few years & wouldn't you know the week before Mother's Day.

There was a hot tub expo at the fairgrounds here, 50 hot tubs on display.

If you bought one of the ones off the floor, you got a 50% discount & we received a coupon in the mail for $1000 off any hot tub Sat or Sun.

So we went to look at them & came home with this one. It's a perfect size for the two of us & it fits right in the corner of our screened in patio.

So for Mother's Day I put a Prime rib in the Lang & we just got into the tub a few times & drank a few beers & had a nice PR for dinner.

It was a good day!!

Al that looks good to cold up here and I don't have that much privacy

gotta keep momma happy

but its a little warm for a hot tub in Florida isn't it ??    I have one on the deck but we shut it down in the summer and turn it on in the fall    nothing better than sitting in a hot tub in the middle of a snow storm

Nice. I was going to ask if it had a water cooling feature. Can't see sitting in 110° water on a 98° day...JJ

I like the SV idea. I couldn't imagine wanting a hot tub in Florida. Congrats on making her happy up next Al's new car!!!

That sound like a great deal, perfect spot in the shade and a great meal.

Ah, the retired life.

Awesome gift Al!  I want one even in New Orleans heat and humidity.  A hot soak in my bathtub really helps with my old bones!

Wow Al. Thats some Mothers Day gift. Miss Judy's gonna love it. I don't know about Florida hot tubbing but there's not much better than soaking in a hot tub at night at 20 below watching the snow falling all around you.

Gary
Very nice indeed!

Giant sous vide,

NICE!
She looks very happy.

Very nice touch Al...   Judy looks comfy....
We've lived in Florida our whole lives & I keep the tub temp at 95, Judy & I are getting old & soaking in the tub even on a 95 degree day feels darn good.

When it cools down in Jan & Feb, I'm sure it will feel even better!

Al

Congrats Al,   We love hot tubbing also, we turn ours down to 101 - 102 in the summer times but there is nothing that beats it as Gary said in the winter 20 below and a nice light snow coming down... and maybe a beverage in hand.....

Wow!!

That's a Really Neat Hot Tub, Al !!

The one I just got cost me under $400, but it's much too small to get in---It only holds about 3 gallons!!

My wife wants a hot tub too! The only problem is our house only has a 100 amp service and the panel is full.

I want a cedar wood fired tub, but the wife doesn't want wood fired... So the compromise is to go with a natural gas one. We just need to complete a few more projects and it s up next.

She got a central vacuum system with hide a hose this year. Let me tell you our floors haven't ever been this clean! Cant believe we didn't install one years ago.

Al nice tub!
I'm sure you and Judy will get lots of use out of that.
When I had my tub I would run it at 95 in the summer and 103 in the winter.
I used to set a beer at each corner of the tub, when they was gone it was time to get out.
