Alrighty then... First storm of the season (which is almost over) to hit the Northern Gulf States .... Fortunately it's not (at this time) a BIG storm... BUt it's still gonna do some daamage and flooding...

We've been getting rain from it for more than 2 days now... I believe rain is all we're gonna get from it...

But those of you in it's path stay safe and take precautions.. Remember if you think your gonna get flooded put all your important paperwork and anything else that's important that will fit... In the dishwasher (turn breaker off) ...

Dishwashers are not water tite, they have ventilation which will let water in, take your important stuff and leave

I'm in Mobile, AL and we've dodged the bullet here, and are breathing sighs of relief.

Watched the track on this storm crawl Eastward from Mississippi to the West Florida Panhandle.
Feel real empathy for those Floridians in Pensacola to Panama City.
Lots of coworkers, a few close friends and lots fishing acquaintances over there.

During Hurricane Sally many of us were in-touch online in real time, I heard many lose their homes and belongings, thankfully none of them died.
