My nephew gave me a OKJ Highlander as an early Christmas present and a Google search landed me here.

I did a seasoning burn in and started smoking. First run was with a couple racks of ribs....turned out great!

This past weekend I went with a 7.5 lb hen with home made stuffing...mouth watering!

With the exception of a Maverick 733 I'm still running stock. I haven't had any trouble whatsoever keeping a steady 225-230 degree CC but I'll probably get gaskets, tuning plate, and a minion box from BBQmods just because I'd mod a #2 pencil if I used one on a regular basis.

Anyway, That''s my story and I'm sticking to it

Good morning and welcome to the forum from a cool, foggy and damp day here in East Texas, and the best site on the web. Lots of great people with tons of information on just about everything.
