So, plans for tomorrow?

I‘m battling pneumonia, so just throwing a rack or two on the pellet pooper and watching golf, and will live vicariously thru your infinitely more interesting exploits. :emoji_disappointed:

170# whole hog.

My folks live a 100 yrds from my brother. Brother is doing burgers and dogs, I'm gonna run some thighs across the kettle with the vortex. And just hang out with the folks. Bryce is with his GF on the coast.
Hope you get to feeling better soon!

I'm cooking tomorrow's meal right now. I have two butts totalling 15 pounds about 2 hours give or take from finishing. Got some foil wrapped Vidalia onions getting caramelized on the grill along with a few hot Hungarian wax peppers. I'm not waiting for Father's day. The wife and I are going to feast tonight.

Pizza tonight (finally a nice weekend that I can cook outdoors). My son bought some NY strips that "he" is supposed to grill tomorrow, should be interesting (he's 18, not sure he knows how to turn on a propane grill, definitely know he doesn't know how to start charcoal).

Do you like the pizza cooker? I've been floating the idea of getting one myself.

I got it when the covid stuff started up since I was working from home so much. I really like the results, my issues are: 1) can only make about a 14" pizza, 2) it uses a ton of charcoal, you are better using charcoal as a base and logs as your main fuel source. It takes a while for the stone to get up to temp which leaves very little time to cook if using mostly charcoal (though the pizzas get done in about 2 minutes max).

Oh, and you need to change the hydration of your doughs, normally a neopolitan inside is up to 70%, on this thing nothing above 60% or you won't be able to rotate quick enough because a wetter dough takes longer to initially set.

Now wait a dang minute, being as it's fathers day I figured someone was supposed to be cooking for me for a change lol.
Bwaa HaHa! Might happen on mothers day from your kids.
Father's Day? What are you cookin?

Me. I've decided for tomorrow I'm having mustard on onion sandwiches. Would you like a slice of cheese added?

Hope you get time to. My hay field been cut, rolled, and moved out already.

It finally quit raining here. No rain for a week. I also have more then one field, about 70 acres. 😆
