Hello folks! It's that fun time to start thinking about who's bringing what to the North FL SMF Gathering in a couple weeks (October 17th - 19th). The weather on the east coast has been beautiful the past few days with zero humidity and high's in the mid-80s, so I can only imagine how enjoyable it will be at camp!

Listed below is the supply list that Jerry and I have in mind. Please throw respond to the thread with what goodies will be brought to share with the rest of the gang.

Not sure how everyone else feels about this but how about making it BYOB and I'll get a couple cases of bottled water to have on hand. Someone else may volunteer to bring the pop so at least the beverages will be handled. I'll also bring some stuff for iced tea as we can't have bbq without some sweet tea!

Coyote this will be the first gathering for me. So if somebody sees something we're missing let us know. I don't have a martini shaker but I do have a blender here and an electric hand mixer. Refrigerator space is limited so coolers are a must there are a couple of ice machines in town tho. We also have a propane grill here if needed.

Here's cheers to all attending!

Don't forget the CIGARS! Goes great with a good drink and a full belly while sittin' around the campfire....

Hope you guys have as good of weather as we did for the Iowa gathering!

ENJOY!

Has anybody thats coming seen any fresh corn on the cob lately? I know its getting kinda late but figured I'd ask. I've got to go home for a couple days this week but when I get back I'll see what kind of fresh veggies I can find around here. For the nature lovers and walkers bring your binoculars and walking shoes I will have some trails mowed and I've been seeing deer daily and quite a few turkeys too.

Don't forget to bring your lawn chairs. We have plenty of tables and chairs for dining but not sitting outside around a campfire (hoping it gets cool enough)

I seen some in Minneapolis Jerry, but that ain't gonna do yall much good! Hope yall have fun an plenty a fine vittles! A worse case sitation, ya could get the cobbetts from the grocery store, ain't quite the same, but would work ifin yall can't find it fresh!
