70th Birthday & 50th Anniversary Dinner at Bear Jr’s House (Surf & Turf on the Egg)

So Bear Jr invited us for Dinner at his house, for our 50th Wedding Anniversary (Dec 27) & my 70th Birthday (Jan 3).

He also gave us some fixed up “Old” pictures. He found some faded pictures in our old Album from back in the 60s & 70s.
Then he took a few of them to a Photographer, and had them Brightened up a bit. Most of them came out pretty good.
I’ll include our favorite picture below, which is a picture of us, when we got married, back on December 27, 1968.
Yup, That’s the Bear wearing his Army Dress Greens, holding on tight to the Beautiful Mrs Bear, so she didn’t get away

OK, so lets get to the food:
Bear Jr skewered a bunch of Great Big Tiger Shrimp, and threw a couple hunks of Fillet Mignon on his BGE.
Then foiled the Mignon & Grilled the Shrimp just long enough.
We plated that with Mashed Taters & Broccoli, and sat down to eat.

Then we had a pretty tasty store bought Raspberry cake for dessert.
Not bad, but couldn’t hold a candle to Mrs Bear’s Awesome “Raspberry Chiffon Pie”.

So I snapped some Pics for you guys, Because we couldn’t invite you all.

Thanks for joining us on the Forum!!
