Just finished with cutting the grass, and fired up the grill, no, not the smoker, the grill. Gonna grill some chickens!

Mardi Gras is a week from today and its 75 degrees in the shade. Has man done this? Holes in the ozone? El Nino? We here are used to calmer winters but I am in shorts and a Tee shirt in Febuary......... <in my best Seinfeld voice> "Whats up with the weather?"

You can visit me and shovel a path to the smoker any time

Enjoy it, blizzard warning starting tomorrow for me. Oh well, no way a groundhog is going to see his shadow around here tomorrow.

It's hot in Florida today, 80's. Shorts & tee shirt. Crazy weather. Had the heat on a few days ago, now I'm about ready to put the a/c on.

I just got done cutting the grass too, Foam.

Sweating bullets doing it!

It's been hot in MS th last few days. Today around 75 with sever weather this afternoon high wind today strong tornados flash floods u know the normal stuff we get. Reminds me of April 28th 2014 when a Ef-4 tornado with 194 mile an hour wind hit my moms place. Oh it's going to 48 feet r the high tomorrow. As the old saying goes if u don't like the weather in Ms wait 10 minutes

25 degrees and overcast here....   I heard the ozone hole, over the Antarctic, has closed back up....

Must have been a "weather phenomenon"...

Enjoy "FAT TUESDAY".....   Keep your eyes where they belong....   HAHAHAHAHAHA

Anyway, crazy weather

The weather is just crazy this year.  I'm hauling logs in north central Alberta (where it should be nothing but snow and cold this time of year) and the weirdest day was Jan 27.  It started out raining, then turned sunny.  I was driving in the mud and the day was t-shirt warm--leastwise it was t-shirt weather for an Alberta boy.  All you lucky southern folk would probably have still been wearing parkas  LOL.

Saturday, Sunday, Monday & Tuesday we were in the 80's ???  this morning we are in the 30's  I was wearing shorts, T shirt and no shoes, today Shorts, T shirt and shoes. turned the heat on this morning.  Crazy weather.

A couple of weeks ago when it was pretty chilly, I was going to take my grandson to the store, he looked at me and said "You're wearing shorts and a long sleeve flannel shirt"  I said yep, it's pretty chilly out there. He just shook his head.

56F here now but with a cold front coming.

We got 2 inches of rain overnight. This is a rain garden project in progress, where roof runoff water is directed to a garden. That water used to go to splash blocks at the foot of the wall, and the basement walls have been braced against bowing multiple times. Now it pools 28 feet away from the house. I need to enlarge the basin, then backfill with compost and plants.

I run a watershed group, and I work in "green infrastructure" (Google that) and one catchphrase is "Turn gray funnels into green sponges."

I'll put a vegetable garden where the yard is ponding, and that can serve as a spongy sink while being irrigated.
