Great thing about beans & rice?? We both like beans and rice ✌️

Ness Farms Pintos out of New Mexico. My Smoked chicken breast. Blues Hog High Flying Chicken seasoning with a tablespoon of Beef Better Than Bullion. Savory zero sugar Cornbread cooked in vintage cast iron. Cooked, sliced and served slathered in Amish Butter. (love that stuff)I tend to cook small pots. Like 3/4 to a cup of beans. While I do love them pintos, I don't want them multiple days in a row. They freeze well, but I enjoy cooking and really not much remaining anyways.

Awesome looking plate of food! Count me in!

Beans & Rice a staple for 100's of millions all over the world. Got introduced to one version when I lived in Brazil back in the 60s. Their version was feijoada which generally included what ever meat they had at the time. I continue to make this dish each year during the cold months. Recipe is in the sig below.
