She is sweet. Held 230 with no problems at all. She has all the bells and whistles. Many build hours from a good friend and a little ingenuity made a real nice smoker.

That is a nice rig. Did you have any leaks around the door? how is it sealed?
Thanks Put some food on that thing and post it!

Door has a little minor leak at the edge. Any suggestions how to get a seal around it? It's held shut by the 4 latches you see on each corner. Simply 4 pieces of L with bolts welded.
Is there any overlap between the door opening and the door or is the door the actual cutout from the drum? If there's no overlap, you could use some 1/8" flat bar stock and make a lip that goes around the outside edge of the door. The get some Permatex Ultra Copper high temp silicone and run a bead around the lip on the door. Give the door opening a good coat of cooking spray all the way around where the silicone will contact the door and then close the door. Don't latch it and leave it closed though. Close it and open it back up. The cooking spray will keep it from sticking to the barrel and when it dries you will have a perfect seal.
