Smoking a rack of BBs on the 26.75" (Qview included!)

Discussion in 'Pork' started by smokingbruin, Oct 2, 2010.

  1. I'm dialed in at 240* and smoking some BBs on the 26.75" over cherry and a little hickory.  Pics to follow...

    Before the membrane...
    And after...

     With some (a lot)rub

  3. Before the crutch...   I had to add a water pan cuz I didn't close the lid all the way and temps flared!

    Great looking Ribs!!!

    Get the ate down yet?

  5. I just checked and it needs a little more time.  I'm going to unfoil and then sauce!
  6. They're still on...

Watching the Bruins and feeling kind of lazy so I'm using SBR and honey for the sauce.

  8. Finally, after 7 hours they passed the bend test!  Sorry, I was hungry and barely remembered to snap a pic.

What's in the pan to the left of the ribs?  Apple juice?

Doesn't get any better than that !

  14. It looks like apple juice, but it's water for a heat sink.  It got a little discolored from the smoke.
