I usually make enough pizza dough to satisfy all the pizza lovers here on pizza night. But the real reason is to have enough dough left over to make a Calzone!
I had smoked some hot sausage last week for hot sausage sandwiches and since I had some left over. . .Why not!
Ingredients:
Smoked hot sausage
Green peppers
Onions
Smoked provolone
Smoked mozzarella
Pizza dough
Olive oil
Prepare your dough as you usually would.
Fill er up and brush on a little olive oil.
Onto the Baking Steel @ 500˚ for 15 minutes.
And voila!
Easy, quick, and delicious!
