Hello all...

It's been a long time since I've posted. Some major life changes happened. I decided to retire from my carrer of 29 years and leave California. I was born there, but "things" got to a point where I needed to make a change. I had an opportunity in Missouri, so my wife and I moved here. She has family here, so it's been a nice transition to midwest life.

I decided to make a 20lbs batch of bratwurst to share...

After stuffing them I let them bloom for a day in the fridge, then vacuum packed them. I grilled up a batch... They are tasty.

A fine looking setup and a really nice looking batch of links, nice work. I also was born in CA, 4th generation. Left for AZ three years ago, no regrets, it's a great place to be from. RAY

I love your setup man. Great job.

Nice sausage.

Born and raised in S, Calif desert, glad we split from there in 93 with the kids.

Great looking brats! And the Midwest is a great place to live!

Fine looking sausage! Congrats on the merry go round and welcome to the Heartland!
Of all the sausages I've made I've never done brats for some reason.
Share the recipe? If it's a family secret I understand :emoji_wink:

Welcome to "Gods Country" and that is a fine looking load of brats. What a great set-up for sausage making too!

I am 100 miles west of you in beautiful Boone County, MO - aka - "Central Gods Country"
