Hey Y'all. I have been wanting a smoker for years and finally bought a used one this weekend. I can't wait to absorb all the great knowledge that is floating around out here and hope to meet some of you at one time or another. I live and work in Central Texas. I am interested in smoked foods, dirt and street motorcycles, firearms, reloading and bullet casting,

Hello again from Texas! Thanks for all the warm welcomes! Hopefully I will have some QView to share soon. I am having a base welded to my cooker today and am in the process of building a fire barrel to make pre-burned wood for the smoker, when I go for those all night smokes.

My wife thinks I am crazy for starting another hobby, because I tend to go into it full bore,

but I bet she changes her tune when she gets her first taste of some good ol' brisket or ribs.
