I used to live in MO and you have to remember that half of Kansas City is in MO. That said, you get very far away from there and the bbq knowledge dwindles exponentially!

COB? Another secret abbreviation that I'm gonna have to ask what it means. Sort of contradictory to the whole idea of abbreviations being used to save time. It's like the habit 'round here of typing "EVOO", then continuing with "(extra virgin olive oil)". It was kind of cute the first hundred thousand or so times Rachael Ray said it, but then she got married and it got old.

So please share what COB is so I can be in on the fun. And by the way, who is Lorrie again? Has everyone but me met her? I always feel so out of the loop.

TAHAND (thanks and have a nice day)

Had a great visit with my family, my cooking was a hit even with my 13 year old niece.

Three highlights of the night were when my brother in law asked what kind of batter I used on my chicken to get the skin so crispy. I don't think he believed me when I told him the truth that I don't use any batter just spices and the way I cook it. The second is when my sister tried the BB ribs and asked how I get them so juicy, because her husbands are always dried. I told her it all in the way they are cook. I did explain the 3-2-1 way of cooking ribs to my brother in law. The top highlight was when my niece said that my cooking was way better than the dinner they had the night before at a fancy Disney Restaurant.

The other two compliments were great but damn that had to have been the best one!
