My NE PA Friend

A good friend of mine stopped by on his way to Florida from North East PA for the winter.

I took him to Uncle Bubba's for dinner. Paula Deens brothers place.

Good food, priced nice and friendly service.

Was nice to see someone from back home.

Ordered some grilled oysters with melted cheese and garlic.

I ordered the Full Bubba, ended up bringing half home. Fried oysters, shrimp, scallops and a huge chunk of fish with red rice.

 I'd love to eat that but I'd be 

 when my DR found out. I love fried stuff but DR says nope none till my cloistral Is back to norm unless I want major problems.

It looks real good Rick! But we don't eat much fried food either. I love it and indulge myself a couple of times a year.

I guess that will have to be one of our stops when we come down in April. Looks good except I don't do oysters - my stomach does not like them

 Now that looks pretty good and all. I have heard that you have to go by or call for a reservation and they will give the time of day that you can try an come back. Then looking at that plate you need to work on your eating skills. There's not that much food for a good fat kid.

Sprky,eat more Garlic and have a small shot of Wine each day. They say it lowers Chlesterol very well. Just sayin' - can't hrut...
