For the second year in a row, mice have invaded my house.

Can't figure out how they get in, but it's a 110 year old house, so not air tight by any means. Snap traps got one of the current ones, and either it, or another drug a glue trap several feet and escaped. Something ate some of the dcon I put out too. Currently 10 snap traps, 4 glue traps, 4 dcon boxes, and 2 of those electronic mouse repellants that plug into the wall.

Any other ideas? I hate mice in the house.

Thanks!

I'm really allergic to cats. Had a couple friends that offered a loaner pet, but I'd stop breathing. I'm suprised the mice made it past all the cats in the area.

Thanks for the idea though!

Oughta see Mikey The Mighty minature schanuzer take his toll on field mice around here! Plus, the breed is about as hypo-allergenic as animals come.

Take 4 or 6 snap traps and put them in a square pattern on the floor so there is a 2x2 empty in the middle of the pattern. In the middle put a small pile of sunflower seeds. Guaranteed to work; double your mouses back if this fails!!!

Look For Signs Of Entry..do You Have A Basement..any Gap Larger Then A Nickel Will Provide Entry...find These Places ..place Your Decon ..and .lol Peanut Butter Traps Near Them....another Idea..go To The Local Humane Society.get Yourself A Dozen Cats For A Week....tell Them You Will Return Them After This Job ...what Would You Rather See A Mouse Running Around ..or A Cat In Chase....trust Me A Dozen Cats ..simple Answer.... Or Just Call Orkin Pest Control..

Pour some Coke into a jar lid and set it out for them to drink. Mice cannot burp. Gets them every time.

I had the same problem...put out some poison and one crawled in the insulation between the garage and family room, died and caused a stink (no pun intended). Stick with somekind of trap, you can see the little buggers and toss em in the garbage. A dead mouse you can't find is much worse than a live one....my .02 worth.

I always heard this was true via someones personall experiance. I always wondered what kept it from going flat.

If you cant have one cat due to allergies, I'm sure a dozen wouldn't help either.

I have 5 cats and no mice problem. If i did there would be 5 cages filled at the pound! Ok not really.

If you do find a solution or a bb gun sharpshooter let us know what worked.

Thanks everyone! I think they ate some of the poison already. Hope they die somewhere easy to find. I need a pet snake or somethin.
