So, I went with the MES 40 with the solid door, which means it didn't come with legs. The only legs I have found are on Amazon but reviews say they don't actually fit the 40". Anyone come up with something to elevate the smoker some? I have considered concrete blocks.

Scroll through this thread . There's a couple examples of what some of us have done .

I used an old base from a Char griller pro . There's a pic in that thread . You could also build something out of wood , or buy an after market cart . Re-do the base from an old gas grill .

Made this rolling cart. Easy in and out.

I have a MES 40 and went with the Master Built Universal Leg Kit that you can pick up or sent to you from Cabela's or Bass Pro Shop. They add about10" of height to your smoker and have rear-mounted wheels.

I built an outdoor table a few years back, many to clean fish on, at kitchen counter height. There is an electrical outlet right next to where the table is, about 20 yards from the garage when I keep the MES 30. Yes, I have to carry it to the table, but if my back gets worse I'll use the dolly. Still have to lift it up on the table if I use the dolly. My driveway is dirt/gravel so legs with caster won't work. Luckily the MES 30 doesn't weigh much and I don't need an extension cord for the smoker either. It works for me.
