My fault. I will be smoking this weekend, they will go in then.

Way to go Matt!! That's a great smoke and I love the creativity with the meatballs, especially the beef broth spritz!! Gotta throw some points at that!!

Looks like it turned out great.
Gotta give Matt points for a job well done. I like the sound of the sauce, sweet and heat.

Man do those meat balls ever look good. I never thought of spritzing with broth but am going to add that to my arsenal for sure.

Great Smoke Matt!

Cool, Dawn! A Bbq enthusiast on the rapid rise!

Nice creativity with the whole thing...those flavors sound great together, and then, smoked...gotta be great!

Hey Dawn...has he asked for a slab of spares to smoke yet?

Nice smoke, Matt!

Eric

Not yet, Eric. He told me last night he wants to do meatballs again. He said "I want to do something different with them, but I'm not sure what yet."

I've created a monster.

That's awesome Dawn and it looks dang good. I remember tagging along in the kitchen with my mom and dad but I didn't attempt to start smoking anything till a few months ago. Those memories and lessons he will never forget

Way to go lil dude!
My dad couldn't boil water w/o burning it. My mom made sure that when all us kids were old enough to be able to safely reach the stove, We learned how to cook.
Mom was a comfort food cook and my wife is the same.
i taught myself cajun / creole and some gormet cooking.
The fine folks here taught me the art of smoking.
Learn all you can from mom and who knows, You may want to persue cooking as a career.

This is a picture of a young man with passion! Way to go Matt, and congratulations on your idea of spritzing with broth. I think that was an OUTSTANDING idea which made your meatballs not only juicy but full of flavor, too.

By the way, I am glad to know of another person who likes 5 spice powder. I love it, and think it can be used to improve many rubs. Don't tell anyone, but I toss in a dash in my scrambled eggs!

Keep up the cooking, buddy!

(Got to give you points for the 5 spice too
