Being on the lower carb diet for a bit now… lost a decent amount of weight so far. Was not interested in the quick fix drugs for weight loss. Wanted to do it natural!

Here’s my two go to low carb snacks. They are tasty…

Wanting to know yours if you’d be willing to share your favs.

Thanks!

My ultimate fav right now is Quest Protein chips. Pricey but delicious. I order 4 packs from Walmart. 4 net carbs and 18 grams of protein in a bag. I also love some of the Quest Protein bars as snacks. If you're interested in those I've tried a lot of flavors and can recommend tasty ones. Aldis sells bags or protein cheese puff balls that are killer too! I like the jalapeno cheddar. Again high protein and low carb. For something a little more natural I love me some good blackberries!

Well.....not to be a Debbie downer, but snacks are kind of counter to the goal of weight loss. Every time you eat, you spike insulin. And the goal of low carb is to lower insulin so you can burn fat. This is why intermittent fasting goes hand in glove with low carb eating. But....when I am on the go, I like jerky, nuts, and blueberries....and avocados.

I have to disagree on this. As long as the snacks fit within the daily calorie and carb limits they are ok by me. Everyone has different goals and ways to get there though. For me being able to have a healthy snack makes the long term diet more sustainable.

Pork rinds, pork chicharonnes, meat sticks, avocado, boiled eggs, pickled eggs, pickled okra, nuts, and if I want chips, these Wilde protein chips are amazing:

I do also eat some fruit, just try to keep it minimal. And I make my own sugar free ice cream quite a bit.

I agree with @indaswamp and would add that humans were not meant to snack and always have food being digested. I have done a lot of intermittent and long term fasts over the last 15 months. That triggers autophagy, which is like magic for healing and fat burning, with zero loss of energy. In fact, burning ketones, you will probably feel better than when always snacking and eating.

But, I know that is not what was asked, so I'm sorry I do not have any snack suggestions. I'm sure many will be given. Good luck!

Pork rinds, and cashews (sparingly - very sparingly but I love them). And my favorite "desert" treat is either a homemade Kiltz Keto Ice Cream in my Wynter 1.5pt machine, or these bars. I found the best price on the bars at Sam's Club and they are 2 net grams per bar. Most of the time one of those a day is my treat. I like the Chocolate Mint Chip the best

Familiar with most, but the chips and pickled okra are something I am going to look into. Thanks

Will look into those chips, thanks Jeff. Oh yea, can’t go wrong with blackberries.

And just being honest here. It’s not that I snack a lot, it’s sparingly… mostly fasting thru the day… but IMO when you find what works for you and what does not. A bit of a “treat” here and there helps to keep the momentum, I just try to keep it low carb. As said in another thread, I tried a cheat week… that was a mistake and I openly admit that! But everyone is different and has to find what works for them.

That being said, I appreciate and respect everyone’s opinions and replies… thank you!

Yep. Health and fitness are like smoking briskets. Nothing works exactly the same for different people.

Those all sound good. I should try sugar free ice cream of some sorts. That is usually my Sunday night treat and I know the sugar isn't good for one especially before bedtime 😔

Although pricey if you can get pints of Rebel Ice Cream it's astounding. Very low carb and right up there with Ben and Jerry's or Haagen Das. The Keto brand ice cream bars are very good as well and have a lot of varieties including peanut butter ice cream bar with chocolate coating and mint chocolate.

Those protein chips look good! My biggest snack times are the hours spent in the tractor in the spring and combine in the fall.

My favorite flavor is Salsa Verde but they are all good. I most often buy them, pizza flavor, taco , nacho cheese and sweet chili lime. I don't mind the ranch either. Didn't like the buffalo ranch.

Just finished some meatballs... now I have the munchies!

No suggestions outside of jerky. The protein will satisfy. Needs lots of water to bulk it out.

I didn't spend much time in a tractor in the spring unless running the S tine ahead of the beet drill.
Fall, sitting in the seat chisel plowing was my worst.
