Last nights offering.

The wife came home from shopping with a bit more then I thought.

A couple of strips and tails. So, instead of beef burgundy. It will be surf and turf. No argument here.

Also did up some petite potatoes with onions and salt pork. Added garlic, pepper, and parsley.

A little Mead to sip while cooking.

And plated up.

Nice end for the day Today it'll be beef burgundy.

Thanks Richie. It was a nice surprise. Wegman's had family packs of tails. 4 for 32.00 Not a bad price.

We buy those 4pack of tails at Wegmans too for bigger occasions. Can’t go wrong with those tails at $30. We usually just eat 2 a piece.

Oh, I had the misfortune to spend 5 years in the northwest suburbs of Chicago. Was the most miserable time of my life being that I just hate cold weather.

I'm ready to retire and move to a warmer climate.

I had the same idea. Thus far I've only managed to accomplish half of that objective.
