ALSO are the legs far enough apart so it doesnt tip while mixing???

And did you need a second person to hold it while you turned the handle???

well darn it, the local stores don't carry that....so had to order it online and have to wait.......but hey, reminded me that I had a couple of harbor frieght gift cards so it was even cheaper!!!!

(I also compared it to the one from cabella's and it appears to be the exact same one for 10 bucks cheaper then cabella's sale price.....)

I think it's supposed to do like 17 pounds but I did just under 20 pounds this time and it didn't have a problem. I usually only do 10 or 15 pounds at a time but it Christmas.

We should just move in together hon we'd save small fortune on buying 2 of everything!

BTW I'm liking what I'm seeing on my latest attempt on real hard salamis they've been hanging a few weeks and are starting to look really good! Bactofermâ„¢ F-RM-52 from butcher packer and buttermilk this time. If it comes out just right I'll let you know the recipe. Right now the room smells like I'm trying to kill vampires. I might have gone too heavy on the garlic but I didn't think that was posible.

I think mine holds 20 to 25 lbs, but works much better with 10 to 15 lbs.

you will have to let me know about the salami.....and I think you are right, would have saved a ton of money since we seem to buy the exact same stuff!!!!!
