Gosh those wings look good.
I keep saying this, but I have to get a Vortex!
Awesome wings! That Vortex makes some great wings I may need to get one if the ribolator isn't good enough for wings.
What temp are you getting with the Vortex?
A Vortex can achieve 1000ºF quite easily, I believe 1214ºF is the highest I have seen reported.
Great color on those wings
After seeing this and a couple other threads, I ordered myself a Vortex for my 22.5 Weber =]
I'm definitely going to use that bad boy in a lot of my cooks
So 24 wings on the Weber with my new vortex Half hot and half sweet.. They were great .. But I burned the hair off my arm. That baby is hot!!!!
Nice wings Lemans! I've been waiting for your post. I've got wings on the Vortex also today, but I didn't want to step on your smoke. That Vortex is crazy hot and it lasts forever.
I think it is awesome. Can't wait to learn how to use it to its full potential
Wings were like 45 mins to reach 165 at 500 degrees
I reached over to turn the far side and burnt the hair off my arm!! Ouch!!!
lol yea with all the grilling that I do, I never have hair on my fingers and the hairs on the back of my hands are constantly regrowing
