Hi Everyone..

Ive been smoking meat for nearly two years. I'm looking to raise my game with advice from the professionals.
The UK isn't reknown for its low and slow BBQ.. the weather isn't good either! But I'm a all seasoner!
Look forward to the advice from my fellow members..

Hi Foodie, Welcome to our "Family" and "Addiction"

Plenty of good folk on here, ask any questions you can think of, and you will get your answers.

Please take time to look at the UK Smokers Group,

http://www.smokingmeatforums.com/f/3161/uk-smokers

And introduce your self on the UK Roll Call
http://www.smokingmeatforums.com/t/229926/roll-call

The UK Smokers Group Is where UK members can ask and share information that is unique to smoking and curing in the UK and does not obviously fit into any of the main forum categories.

We have had our 3rd UK Smokes weekend, where members attend and cooked over the weekend, planing has are already in place for 2017. Please use the link below to view the website.

Hi Foodie - Welcome to the forum.

There are a growing number of us here from the UK and as you are from London this is good in helping to redress the North-South balance. I am from Kent but most on here are from the northern wastelands

The UK has a surprisingly vibrant Smoking/BBQ community but a lot of it is under the radar. If you get a chance to come to our next UK-SMF meeting late in July you will meet some of the recreational smokers and if you make it to Grillstock in Bristol at the beginning of July you will get to meet the hoards of hard core competition smoker/BBQ community. https://grillstock.co.uk/festival/

What kind of smoking do you do? Hot? Cold? and what smoker(s) do you have. There are those on here that create excellent food on inexpensive garden centre value BBQs and others that use professional catering smokers. Most are in between I think and use something like a Weber Kettle, bullet smoker or small offset.

Please post up some photos of your smokes - we love photos here. Although you say that you are here to learn from us, we also often learn a lot from new members like yourself, so do not think it is all a one way process.
