The other day I made a turkey. Just oven roasted. Wife is still on an anti meat, anti smoke thing. So any chance I get to cook meat I do in the oven.

Pot pies all leftover scrap meat and of course the carcass was boiled down with the super stock
I made with the neck, guts, and trimmed skin.

I'll vac pack these and freeze for work lunches. They are tasty!

Blind baked the bottom crusts. I can get 9 pies out at a standard two crust pie crust recipe.

Made a basic gravy. Butter, flour, stock, seasonings.

Add to it chopped turkey and veggies. I used frozen mixed this time as I wasn't in the chopping mood.

I really need to make these.  I have seen you post something like this before.

I pack my lunch everyday.

Those look and sound great! Love the pi symbol!

Thanks CB! They were tasty, not sure how many will be left by tomorrow to freeze for lunches! They may all be gone by Saint Patricks day!

Guess I'm going to have to come up with a meat shamrock to too my corned beef!
