Hangman in action. Corn on the cob and sweet Italian Johnsonvilles

    I could have hung the corn right on the drums edge..Question, How much corn ya figure would fit hanging all the way around on a 55 gallon drum?

    Thanks...No, suppose it could have been but I just sliced and sauteed with butter and olive oil. 

    I'm just happy I found a way to do a bunch of corn on the cobb and easy!      Last weekend we didn't want to fire up another smoker just for corn, now when i'm using my spinner drum it's a piece of cake and takes up no cooking room.

    Should of hung that onion in there!

    As for your corn question what's the circumference of the drum? Cobs about 3" in diameter. Divide the circumference of the drum by the diameter of the cob and there's your approx. answer! How's that for smokin math!

    A wise man once told math is over rated!  [​IMG]

    I used the guesstimator method with my fingers working my way around the barrel....comes to around 24 ears keeping space open for the spit.
