So our 17 YO Grandson is batchin it for 4 days this week.
So Grandma and I thought he might like some ribs.
Got out 2 racks yesterday to thaw in the fridge. Made up some of Grandpa's doctored SBR sauce. And in about 2 1/2 hours...
RIBS!

Gettin a start

Ready to carve them up!

He and his Girlfriend are on their way over...

Fall off the bone ribs in 2 1/2 Hrs? Do tell!

Don't have to.
Not as much as the 3,2,1 method in the MES 30.
But I ran my pit at 350 and up, with 4 burned on low. (instead of 3, but hotter than usual for me.)
And 10 minute turn overs, basting.
The pepper was the only complaint.

Look good Sonny yum

Spice heavy is the only way to go!

I'm sure they will be happy!
Those are some good looking ribs!

Thank You Guys! I sure enjoy mine! Love dem bones!
With some baked potatoes, and a big glass of milk.
Simple.

Grilled ribs are good..

Looks great!
Thanks Johnny. I was told in no uncertain terms to not mess with the rib method.:confused: Sometimes a fan base can be inhibiting. As I'm sure you know. ;)

Mmmmmmmmmmmm!
They are Matt, They are. Two racks and plenty left over for today.

Those look awesome Sonny!
Thank You Geebs! I cook till they look and feel done. These were ~2.5 hours. I just set out and roll them as my timer calls me, and 'paint them' at each turn. I like to bake on the sauce I mix up.

Sonny's speed ribs. Looks good.

Point for sure.

Thanks for the Like!
They come out pretty good. Even when I get heavy handed with my seasoning of pepper in the moppin sauce.
I have to agree they are a bit peppery. But I like that. I need to measure instead of eyeball.:rolleyes::D
Me and the dog will eat them! ;)
