I am new to smoking. Does anyone have an idea which is the best glove to use when smoking. I have a silcone mit but without the fingers it is sometimes hard to use.

Here is what I have, I like them a lot. They are flees lined and work good for hot food on the grill.

For handling hot food, and other items such as hot pots, pans, grates, etc, these are the gloves I use and recommend. Very flexible fingers, and a good grip with a rough textured palm. The extra long gauntlet is a plus, also. I've tried a lot of different ones over the years, and these are the best that I've found, especially for the price. $11 with free shipping

I got these and these. One set for food and the other for hot things (grills, water pan, wood pan, etc.).

I use these  for handling meat on and off the grill and pulling pork, and these for other stuff

I use an old pair of decoy gloves used to pickup duck decoys.  Thru in the wash and now use them - flexible, fingers for repositioning probes and enough protection from the heat, and best of all I'm recycling so it's free.
