Southeast Mississippi
So glad to be back home after several weeks up north. The Boston Butt was seasoned and placed in the refrigerator over night. Should be ready in 7 to 8 hours. Going to add some rib tips that I saved and vacuumed packed later on today. Finished pic later. 78 degrees and not a cloud in the sky. Perfect beer drinking day and watching TBS! Using OAK wood and Royal Oak Briquettes.

The KILLER HOGS BBQ SEASONING does the trick. Hardly zero salt in it. I used the KILLER HOGS all purpose seasoning as a light base before I added the BBQ seasoning rub.

I just tried some of the all natural briquettes and they are excellent. They are denser than all the other RO I have used, burn hotter and longer. Not sure if they're worth the extra coin though, three bucks more a bag here.

Actually same or cheaper than RO here in Southeast Mississippi. Love the stuff now. Don't use RO any longer.

I just tried the RO all natural, and I was pretty impressed with them. They burned long and I could tell it was a good clean product. But I’ve always been happy with the original RO too. I think they were the same price as the original here, $6 a bag.

Hawging It Hawging It is that The BBQ Rub on that butt? It’s got that pretty red color to it!

It sure is. Love that stuff

Yeah I’ve seen tons of Malcom reeds killer hogs videos but haven’t bought any products yet. I really want to try some. It sure looks good.
I love all of his seasoning products. The BBQ Rub and the A P seasoning are what I use the most. I use nothing else since I found out about him.
