WOW.    That's terrible.

Glad you got through it.

You know that is pretty to look at and I guess you Yankee boys are use to it. Not growing up in it I really don't think I could now.

If it snowed like that in Texas (Excluding the Panhandle)  The whole state would shut down. Problem here is Everybody thinks they can

drive in it because most everyone has a 4 wheel drive. But they CAN"T  not at all.

Glad you weathered the storm and are OK

Gary

Yikes, too bad you can't smoke snow!

31 inches???  No thanks, I'll pass!  Heck, I whine when we get a couple inches of the white stuff.  And around here, it seems like they start closing schools as soon as the first flakes start flying.  In my part of the country we just don't seem to be as equipped to handle snowfall of any significance.

Glad you got yourself dug out, John...now get rested up and smoke something!

I was thinking there would be bigger piles of snow, that blower must really send it flying! Glad to hear it's getting back to normal.

Holy Smokes!!

I thought we have been having some bad weather lately!

Glad all is well!

How about some snow angels! Love to see photo's of that!

Snow's fun when you're young, but it gets old when we get old!!

Thank You Duke!!

Once I had to clear a waist-high drift blocking a sidewalk, and instead of randomly shoveling at it I used the shovel to cut out blocks like giant sugar cubes. It was like I quarried it out.

My blower is a late 1970s Jacobsen 2-stroke. This was 2008.

John Glad to see you have the machinery to handle it.I have on the street parking, they plowed me in pretty good.

Richie
Thanks Richie!!

The only thing they can do here is plow my Driveway entrance shut.

We usually cut it back pretty hard along the road, so the snow drops off the plows before it gets to the Driveway.

However they did take out our mailboxes last year.

I'm glad everyone here came out ok in that mess.  Being prepared for that type of storm sure pays off it seems.

Stay warm!
Thank You CB!!

Got news for you; even up here in Yankee Land, 6 to10 inches will pretty much shut things down for awhile, at least in a city. I can't even imagine 31"...
And I get a kick out of seeing the urban cowboys realizing they now have 4 wheels going nowhere instead of just 2.[emoji]128522[/emoji]

Dang! I thought the 24" was bad in Central Jersey. No Son's here...The look on my daughter's boyfriend's face was priceless when he showed up the morning it stopped snowing...JJ

Al, you can't make Snow Angels in that Powder. It would cave in on the Bear and you wouldn't find him 'til Spring.
