The first burn on our new Lodge Sportsman Grill.  What an awesome cooking machine for empty nesters.

2 hand cut NY Strips. Seasoned with Salt and Pepper.

1/3 of a chimney B&B charcoal briquets.

Got the Grill loaded and heating up the grate.

The lower vent slides to the side to allow more air to your coals.

Easy open front door to adjust coals or add briquets.

When the steaks hit that thick cast iron grate you hear a loud sizzle.  You just know that you're getting a great char on the meat.

Just look how well.....  Well you can see.

This grill is a real winner. Best $89 I've spent in a long while!

Good looking chow!  I've always liked that little grill but just to spendy for me.
Yeah  I had to think about buying it for a bit.  But after this cook I know I will be using it enough to justify buying it.  ( At least in my mind. The wife's mind is probably is another story)

Looks awesome B! I almost bought one of those 25% off at Walmart. I passed because I thought my wife would kill me and I just bought a jumbo Joe on Craigslist the day before. Haha those steaks are making me regret not pulling he trigger
